The Story So Far

1996

It began in 1996 with a photo of Michael Schumacher in my crib - at just a few days old I was already well on the way to being in love with motorsport.

I remember watching my Dad rally from a very young age, he had a few different cars but the one that sticks out for me is the blue Datsun 280Z that he still owns to this day. His passion for motorsport is what originally got me hooked, I watched a lot of Bathurst 1000's and F1 as a kid!

2015

I made the step up from karting to cars - we bought a Formula Ford just a few weeks out from the first round of the NSW Formula Ford Championship for the year. Nothing like giving yourself a challenge!

I kicked things off with a win in my first race and didn't look back, I placed 2nd in the championship that year and managed to win the series in 2017.

Dad bought me a kart and straight away I couldn't get enough of it. We started out at a local track and eventually progressed all the way to the National circuit. I grew up with racing and while most kids my age were playing Call of Duty or cricket, I was travelling Australia with my family and eventually with Kosmic Racing Australia.

2019

After watching the growing profile and professionalism of the Toyota 86 Series, I decided to give it a go as I had seen previous series winners progress to Super 2 (the pathway to Supercars) and thought it would be a great place to test my skills. I had some excellent results and my first taste of street circuits, ending up 9th in the Series after a difficult final round at Newcastle.

However, I was honoured to receive the Kaizen Award which entailed a trip to Japan to represent Toyota Australia in the Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival held at Fuji Speedway. I was also part of a documentary filmed to celebrate Toyota's successes in 2019 which you can see here.

2022

After some COVID disrupted years, I had another crack at the Toyota Gazoo Racing 86 Series in 2022. We started off the year with a clean sweep at my home round in Sydney, can't do much better than that!

It was a hard-fought championship with some absolutely wild weather to finish things at Bathurst, but I came out on top in the end - YESSS!!!

I'm very proud of what my team and I achieved as privateers and it satisfied a dream of mine to win a national championship in motorsport.
